Overview
Social proof features are designed to increase ticket sales by showing visitors that other people are actively buying and winning. These features are automatic — they activate based on real-time data from your competitions with no configuration required.
Purchase Ticker
A live toast notification that appears on your competition pages showing recent purchases.
How it works
- Every 8 seconds, a small toast notification slides in showing a recent purchase (e.g. "Sarah J. from Manchester just bought 5 tickets")
- Only shows purchases from the last 24 hours
- Cycles through recent purchases automatically
- Disappears after 4 seconds
What visitors see
The ticker displays:
- Buyer's first name and last initial
- Their city/location
- Number of tickets purchased
- How long ago the purchase was made (e.g. "2 minutes ago")
Tip
The purchase ticker is most effective on competitions with steady sales. If a competition has had no purchases in the last 24 hours, the ticker won't display — avoiding the impression of inactivity.
Urgency Badges
Automatic badges that appear on competition cards to create urgency and drive purchases.

Badges are mutually exclusive — only the highest-priority badge is shown. Priority order: Almost Gone > Selling Fast > Ending Soon > Featured > New.
Entrant Counts
Each competition card displays the number of tickets sold as a progress bar and fraction (e.g. "847 / 1,000 tickets sold"). This serves dual purposes:
- High sales → Creates urgency ("only 153 left!")
- Low sales → Shows opportunity ("great odds — only 47 entries so far")
The progress bar visually fills as tickets sell, providing an at-a-glance sense of demand.
Winners Showcase
A dedicated section on your homepage displaying past winners with their prizes, testimonials, and avatars.
Features
- Carousel-style display with auto-rotation
- Winner name, prize, value, location, and testimonial
- Star ratings from winners
- Navigation controls (prev/next and dot indicators)
- Grid of recent winner cards below the main carousel
Configuration
The winners showcase appears automatically once you've completed at least one draw. Winners are displayed from most recent to oldest.
Note
Winner testimonials can be added manually after a draw. Contact your winners and ask for a short quote about their experience — it significantly boosts trust for future entrants.
