AI Tools growth+ plan
Use AI to generate descriptions, thumbnails, pricing suggestions, and compliance documents for your competitions.
Giveawayz includes four AI-powered tools built directly into the competition creation wizard. These tools eliminate the guesswork from writing copy, designing imagery, setting prices, and meeting legal requirements -- so you can launch competitions faster and with greater confidence.
AI Generation Limits
Each plan includes a monthly AI generation quota. Every use of any AI tool counts as one generation.
| Plan | Monthly Generations | |---|---| | Starter | None | | Growth | 50/mo | | Pro | Unlimited | | Enterprise | Unlimited | | Free Trial | 15 (for the 7-day trial period) |
Quota resets
Your AI generation count resets on your billing date each month. Unused generations do not roll over.
Description Generator
The Description Generator uses GPT-4o-mini to produce compelling competition copy from minimal input. Provide your prize name, value, and a few details, and the AI creates a complete content package.
What it produces
- Competition description — engaging, persuasive copy tailored to your prize type
- FAQ section — 4-6 frequently asked questions with answers (covering delivery, draw date, entry methods, etc.)
- SEO metadata — meta title and meta description optimised for search engines
How to use it
Open the competition wizard
Navigate to Dashboard > Competitions > Create Competition and proceed to the Basic Info step.
Enter your prize details
Fill in the prize name, approximate value, and any key details you want mentioned (e.g., specifications, brand, colour).
Click Generate Description
Click the Generate with AI button. The AI will produce a description, FAQs, and SEO metadata within a few seconds.
Review and edit
The generated content appears in the editor. Review it, make any adjustments, and continue to the next step.
Better input, better output
The more detail you provide about your prize, the more specific and persuasive the generated description will be. Include brand names, model numbers, colours, and what makes the prize special.
Thumbnail Designer
The Thumbnail Designer uses DALL-E 3 to create professional competition images. Choose from six visual presets to match your brand style, and the AI generates a high-quality 16:9 thumbnail ready for your competition listing.
Visual presets
| Preset | Style | Best For | |---|---|---| | Luxury | Dark backgrounds, gold accents, elegant lighting | High-value prizes (watches, jewellery, cars) | | Modern | Clean lines, minimal design, contemporary feel | Tech products, gadgets, experiences | | Bold | Vivid colours, strong contrast, attention-grabbing | Flash sales, limited-time competitions | | Tech | Futuristic aesthetic, neon accents, digital textures | Electronics, gaming setups, software | | Gaming | Dynamic angles, RGB lighting, energetic composition | Consoles, gaming peripherals, in-game prizes | | Elegant | Soft tones, refined typography, sophisticated layout | Lifestyle products, beauty, fashion |
How to use it
Navigate to the Thumbnail step
In the competition wizard, proceed to the Thumbnail step.
Choose a preset
Select one of the six visual presets. A preview description shows you what style to expect.
Generate the thumbnail
Click Generate with AI. The image is generated in approximately 10-15 seconds.
Review or regenerate
If you are happy with the result, continue. If not, click Regenerate to produce a new variation. Each regeneration counts as one AI generation.
Generation cost
Each thumbnail generation (including regenerations) counts as one AI generation against your monthly quota. Choose your preset carefully before generating.
Pricing Strategist
The Pricing Strategist analyses your prize value and market context to recommend optimal ticket pricing and bundle configurations. It helps you maximise revenue while keeping ticket prices attractive to buyers.
What it suggests
- Recommended ticket price — a single-ticket price point based on your prize value
- Three bundle tiers — e.g., 3 tickets for £X, 5 tickets for £Y, 10 tickets for £Z, each offering increasing discounts
- Expected revenue range — a projected revenue estimate based on typical sell-through rates
How to use it
Navigate to the Tickets step
In the competition wizard, proceed to the Tickets & Pricing step.
Enter prize value
Input the retail value of your prize. The AI uses this as the primary input for its calculations.
Click Suggest Pricing
Click the Suggest with AI button. The AI analyses your prize value and returns pricing recommendations within seconds.
Apply or adjust
You can apply the suggestions directly or use them as a starting point and adjust the numbers manually.
Bundle psychology
The AI's bundle suggestions are designed around pricing psychology -- the middle tier is typically the most popular. Consider keeping all three tiers for maximum conversion.
Compliance Generator
The Compliance Generator helps you meet UK legal requirements by producing qualifying questions and terms and conditions tailored to your competition.
Qualifying Questions
Under the Gambling Act 2005, prize competitions in the UK must include a skill-based element to avoid being classified as a lottery. The AI generates a multiple-choice question (MCQ) related to your prize, with one correct answer and plausible distractors.
- Questions are relevant to the prize category
- Difficulty is calibrated to be fair but not trivial
- Each question includes 4 answer options
Terms & Conditions
The AI generates a comprehensive set of T&Cs covering:
- GDPR compliance — data collection, processing, and retention policies
- Entry requirements — age restrictions, geographic eligibility, purchase terms
- Draw mechanics — how and when the winner is selected
- Prize details — description, value, delivery method, and alternatives
- Free entry route — postal entry instructions as required by UK law
- Promoter details — your organisation's legal information
Legal disclaimer
AI-generated terms and conditions are provided as a starting point. We strongly recommend having your T&Cs reviewed by a legal professional, particularly for high-value competitions or if you operate in multiple jurisdictions.
Best Practices
Get the most from AI tools
- Be specific with prize details — include brand, model, colour, size, and retail value for the best AI output
- Review all generated content — AI is a starting point, not the final word. Always review descriptions for accuracy
- Use presets that match your brand — consistency between your thumbnail style and homepage template builds trust
- Generate early, edit later — use AI at the start of competition creation, then refine as you build out other details
- Monitor your quota — on the Growth plan, you have 50 generations per month. Plan your usage across all four tools
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not rely solely on AI T&Cs for high-value competitions — seek legal review
- Do not regenerate thumbnails excessively — each attempt uses a generation. Pick your preset thoughtfully first
- Do not skip the review step — AI-generated descriptions may occasionally include inaccurate prize details
